Young Ambassadors

The Young Ambassadors are a group of young people aged between 12 and 16 who are interested in advocating for anti-racism and positive change in our world. They are building their civic engagement and role as global citizens through various training and skills-building projects. In the past, young people have even taken their skills to the Children in Scotland conference! About the programme, Young Ambassadors have said:

  • “It felt like there wasn’t going to be any judgment because it’s not like we have the same opinions, but we are respectful with disagreements”
  • “This is a space where I can be wrong and my thoughts can be messy”
  • “Every time I come here, I learn a lot about how the world works. We have conversations that make me realise things and I have more knowledge.”
  • “My knowledge and understanding of the world is getting better.”
  • “These sessions really make me think, and I like thinking.”
