Leslie joined Multicultural Family Base as the Finance Controller, supporting the organisation’s financial operations across transactional finance, reporting, compliance, budgeting, and decision-making. She is passionate about using finance to strengthen organisations and maximise their impact on the communities they serve.

Originally from Kenya, Leslie holds an MSc in International Finance from Edinburgh Napier University. She brings experience in financial management and believes that strong financial stewardship helps organisations deliver meaningful and lasting change.

For Leslie, this role is about much more than numbers. As someone from an ethnically diverse background, she is deeply committed to supporting children, young people, and families who experience systemic barriers and social isolation. She takes pride in helping advance MCFB’s mission by ensuring its resources are managed responsibly and sustainably.

Outside of work, Leslie is a storyteller who enjoys writing, reading, hiking, and keeping in touch with her family back home in Kenya.
