Employability Assistant
Temi joined Multicultural Family Base as an Employability Assistant Project Worker, supporting individuals from diverse backgrounds, particularly those from ethnically diverse communities, to access employment, training, and volunteering opportunities in Scotland.
She holds a master’s degree in environmental management and Control and is currently pursuing postgraduate studies in Public Health at the University of Greater Manchester where her studies deepened her interest in improving social inclusion, wellbeing, and access to opportunities for underrepresented communities. She is also an author of Becoming a Social Entrepreneur (2023), a book that explores sustainable business practices and funding strategies for purpose-driven ventures.
Temi is passionate about empowering individuals to reach their full potential through learning, mentorship, community engagement, promoting equal access to opportunities, and supporting projects around fundraising, sustainability, and net zero initiatives. Temi has a strong background in education, research, and community development, with over ten years of experience working with charities, social enterprises, and community organisations both within and outside the UK.
Outside work, Temitope enjoys writing, reading, mentoring young people, and contributing to social impact projects that strengthen communities.
